BIOGRAPHY

The young mezzo-soprano Salina Leonardi-Richards is notable for her interpretations of operas and concert works ranging from pieces by Händel and Rossini to contemporary music. The multilingual singer has recorded numerous times German, Italian, Russian, French and contemporary masterpieces with the Orchestra of the Bulgarian National Radio. Her intense performing schedule takes her to some of the most prestigious stages in Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, etc. Over her artistic path, Salina has had the unique opportunity to work with numerous renowned musicians who mentored, inspired and guided her artistic path, such as Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Richard Eyre, Thomas Hampson, Cecilia Bartoli, Silvana Bazzoni, Jendrik Springer, David Aronson, Mirella Freni, Dalton Baldwin, Marijana Mijanovic, Daniel Sarge, Larissa Gergieva, etc.
